I had this planned ever since there were hints of time traveling in the season, and Starlight Glimmer's plan to stop the rainboom. The thing is that Starlight didn't understand that she lost a friend that acquired a cutie mark. But Twilight did say that make new friends, and Starlight accepted her friendship at the end.
